The world has evolved so much that it is no longer funny any longer. It is in fact very sad to even think about it. I remember just a few years back when young men and young women had their separate roles in life. It was like something that was innate. Young girls were to follow the footsteps of mommy, young boys the ones of daddy.
Nowadays, things are muddled. Cause of the fear for my life, I will not delve in too much.

I hear it all the times in Pranplezi.com. I want to make some eggs the Haitian way. I want to fry some plantains. I want soup joumou. I want this, I want that. Hard to believe, young girls are spending countless of hours in YouTube for videos of how to make some simple meals. Things that they should know already growing up.

Mwen pat bay kado pou saint valantin well, here is a book for you gals www.amazon.com/gp/product/0781809983/ref...5313dee9003735b48e66 .Na sispan manje vye radot taco, Chinese, tortilla, noodles.

My first question to you is, have you tried cooking using the the recipes?
And since when did we ( Haitians) start cooking using recipes and measurements?
During my 30+ years on this earth, i have yet to see an elder, Haitian, men or women saying "pour me a T-spoon of salt into the water" It was all based on taste and intuition. Watch and learn!

pa manje m non souple.. just my 2cents...

Yes, I have tried many of them and they came out damn good, no pepto required. Well, se pou sa anpil nan nou ap pran souflet wi pou pa konn fe manje, the notion of pran ponyen sel vide, pran lay vide pa ladann, se nou kap touye moun ak tansyon deyo a... You say taste and intuition, I say nope. True, they did not use traditional tools to measure, but they did in their ways. ou ka feel le on ponyen sel is trop or tro piti

Again, mwen pa di se te sa, but mwen sispek se te sa. menm le yo pat konn mezire, yo te gen on fason kanmem pou konnen le ase, mwen pa kwe se te goute a Selman paske depiw finn lagueon ponyen sel, li lague net.
